CoDesign Studio is thrilled to be in Quito, Ecuador this week at Habitat III, the world’s most significant sustainable urban development summit. We are representing Australia as one of the few civil society organisations selected to deliver an official side event, in partnership with the Rockefeller 100 Resilient Cities Program (Resilient Melbourne). If you're feeling overwhelmed (and with over 30,000 people attending and hundreds of side events, its hard to know where to start), we've put together a shortlist of must-see placemaking events amongst the action-packed program... check it out over on LinkedIn. Our event, Reinventing Neighbourhoods: New Mechanisms for Creating Public Space, will explore opportunities to achieve change in the way we plan, connect, and live in cities. We’ll examine collaborative design and planning strategies to address the challenges of social isolation endemic in cities today and we’ll look at how the Neighbourhood Project is working to advance a People-Process-Place framework to produce more resilient public places.
